Troubleshooting and FAQ

Sign-in problems, surprising AI behavior, and how to reach the team when you're stuck.

The quick answers to the questions we hear most. If yours isn’t here, the Get help button in the app header goes straight to the team — it’s the fastest way to reach us.

Signing in

“I can’t sign in.” First, check which method you signed up with. If you created your account with Google, use Sign in with Google — there’s no separate password to remember. If you signed up with email and password, use that form.

“I forgot my password.” Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page. You’ll get an email with a reset link. No email after a few minutes? Check spam, and confirm you entered the address you signed up with.

“I was invited but I end up somewhere else.” Open the invitation link from your email again while signed out, and follow it through — it walks you into the right organization.

The AI did something surprising

“My draft uses an old number.” The AI writes from your knowledge base, so an outdated draft usually means an outdated fact. Update it in the Knowledge Base tab and regenerate the section — newer facts win.

“It keeps missing a fact I care about.” If it’s not in your knowledge base, the AI can’t use it. Add it as a fact, then refine the section and name the fact you want featured.

“It rewrote an answer I wrote myself.” Mark that section as a Unique Answer — the AI then treats your text as authoritative and leaves it alone.

“An answer disappeared.” It almost certainly didn’t — PowerGrant keeps version history on every section. Check the section’s history to restore a previous version.

Reaching us

Get help, in the header of every page, emails the two people who build PowerGrant. Use it when something is broken or you’re stuck — you’ll get a confirmation straight away and a reply by email. See Getting help from a human for what context travels with the message.

Use the in-app Feedback button, bottom-right, for feature requests and “it would be nice if…” — that’s a public board where you can see what others have asked for and add your vote.
