Dan Elggren
Dan brings a 28-year career shipping complex, large-scale systems for major game companies — running Battle.net at Blizzard, and shipping the MMOs Earth & Beyond and Stargate Worlds at EA, plus LEGO Universe. He's the kind of engineer who's spent decades on systems where reliability isn't negotiable and the invoice for last month's cloud bill is a line you read closely.
Outside the W-2 phase Dan is an active investor and independent product builder — founder of Out Of Office Outdoors LLC, with multiple live App Store apps. He believes most software complexity is self-inflicted, and that the best engineering decision is usually the boring one. He's now full-time technical lead on PowerGrant.
