PowerGrant

Inviting your team

Bring in your ED, program leads, and board reviewers — every plan includes unlimited seats.

Updated October 25, 2026

Every PowerGrant plan includes your whole team at no extra cost. Grant writing is a team sport — the person who knows the budget numbers is rarely the person polishing the narrative.

Send an invitation

  1. Open Account Settings from your account menu, then choose Organization.
  2. Under Invite members, enter their email address.
  3. Pick a role:
    • Member — can do the actual work: drafts, knowledge base, funder research.
    • Admin — everything a member can do, plus managing the team, billing, and organization settings.
  4. Click Send invite. They get an email with a link that walks them through creating their account and lands them directly in your organization.

Managing invitations

Pending invitations are listed right below the invite form:

  • Resend if the email got buried. If the invitation has expired, the button reads Renew instead and sends a fresh link.
  • Send again if someone declined and has since changed their mind (or declined by mistake). PowerGrant asks you first, since they said no, and then the invitation reaches them again, by email and in their organization switcher.
  • Revoke if you invited the wrong address.

Invitations expire on their own after 90 days if never accepted. An invitation also stops working if the admin who sent it leaves the organization or stops being an admin, or if the organization is archived. Send a fresh one from a current admin.

Changing roles or removing someone

From the same Organization page, use the role dropdown next to a teammate to promote or demote them, or remove them from the organization entirely. Two guardrails to know about: you can’t change your own role or remove yourself, and the organization’s owner (marked with a crown) can’t be demoted or removed. An organization must always keep at least one admin.

Removing someone ends their access right away, including the invitations they sent that haven’t been accepted yet. If they’re the only admin of a sub-organization, make someone else its admin first.
